Before You Ski

Release of Liability Forms

Every participant must complete a release of liability before skiing or snowboarding at Welch Village. Sign online ahead of time and skip the paperwork at the window.

Under 18? A parent or legal guardian must sign the necessary release forms. You cannot sign for another family’s child.

2026/27 Electronic Release Forms

Complete the form that matches what you are doing. Most guests need more than one.

Daily Lift Ticket Release

Required to use a daily lift ticket.

Rental Equipment Release

Required to rent equipment.

Lesson Program Release

Required to participate in any lesson program.

Season Pass Release

Required for all season pass holders for the 2026/27 season. Your pass card does not activate until this is signed.

Ski Patrol Release

Required for volunteer ski patrol.

Children 4 and under

Children 4 and under receive a complimentary lift ticket with a paid adult ticket. A release must be completed for the child ahead of time.

Why We Require This

Skiing and snowboarding are active sports with inherent risks that cannot be eliminated, including the risk of serious injury and death. The release makes those risks explicit before you get on the snow. Read our full safety policies.
