Want to challenge your friends or family? Open Racing means exactly that: it is open to anyone who wants to try recreational ski racing. You can even use your snowboard.
Open Racing is a giant slalom course set with race gates on Lookout, a blue trail with a steeper upper pitch. Our race staff tracks your time for each run, and your results are scored on a handicap system based on ability and age. It works equally well for a seasoned racer sharpening up and for someone running gates for the first time.
2026/27 dates coming soon. Last season, Open Racing was held on Lookout from 10:00am to 11:30am on the following Sundays:
| January | February |
|---|---|
| Jan 4, Jan 11, Jan 18 | Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 15 |
$15
Unlimited Open Racing runs for one day. Registration is available at the Main Chalet indoor lift ticket windows prior to racing.
A lift ticket or season pass is required and is not included.
