Welch Village Ski & Snowboard Area is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including guests using assistive technology.

Our Commitment

We want every guest to be able to find lift ticket prices, lesson times, conditions and policies on this site, regardless of how they browse. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What We Are Doing

Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
Keyboard navigation for menus, accordions and forms.
Clear headings and link text so screen readers can navigate the page.
Captions or transcripts for video where practical.

Service Animals on the Snow

Our website accessibility commitment is separate from our on-mountain animal policy. No animals are allowed on ski terrain or ski lifts, for safety reasons explained on the Resort Safety & Policies page.

Adaptive Equipment

Adaptive equipment is permitted on our lifts and terrain provided it has a metal edge, a retention device, and a mechanism to secure the equipment to the chairlift, and the user can safely load and unload. See the full list of allowed sliding devices on the Resort Safety & Policies page.
