Seasonal Full-Time Lead Positions

TERRAIN PARK MANAGER

18+ • $15–$20/hour depending on experience

Leads the Terrain Park Crew and is responsible for Terrain Park builds.

GUEST SERVICES LEAD

Seasonal full-time

Full-time seasonal leadership role for someone experienced with customer service in a fast-paced environment.

RENTAL DEPARTMENT LEAD

Seasonal full-time

Seasonal full-time lead position in the Rental Department.

CHAIRLIFT MECHANIC

18+ • $16–$22/hour

Maintenance position with a potential year-round opportunity for the right individual.

Part-Time & Full-Time Positions

LIFT OPERATORS

18+ • $17.25–$19.25/hour

Operate chairlifts, rope tows and surface lifts. No experience necessary; must work in adverse weather. All shifts available.

SNOWMAKERS

18+ • $17.50–$19.50/hour

Operate the snowmaking system across the mountain. Outdoor work with all shifts available.

JANITORIAL SERVICE

15+ • $16.00/hour

Keep the chalet and surrounding areas clean. No experience necessary; all shifts available.

LINE COOKS

18+ • $16–$22/hour

Prepare and cook food in restaurants and cafeterias in a fast-paced environment. All shifts available.

FOOD & BEVERAGE KITCHEN STAFF

14+ • $15.00/hour

Support Line Cooks in the Food & Beverage Department in a fast-paced environment.

CASHIERS

15+ • $15.00/hour

Operate the point-of-sale system in the cafeteria and restaurant. All shifts available.

BARTENDERS

18+ • $12.00/hour + tips

Work at the East Chalet Bar and Black Diamond Bar. Experience preferred but not required.

GUEST SERVICES

15+ • $15.00/hour

Sell and issue lift tickets, season passes and lesson programs, answer phones and assist with clerical work.

RENTAL SHOP

15+ • $15.00/hour

Fit customers with ski and snowboard equipment and become certified to work with certain bindings. No experience necessary.

TERRAIN PARK CREW

16+ • $14.00/hour

Help build and maintain the Terrain Park.

GENERAL POLICIES

Welch Village is a seasonal business open seven days a week, with a season of approximately four months. Employees must be willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, since these are the busiest times. Hours vary by department, and positions are available for part-time or full-time hours.

PAPERWORK

Employees must complete a W-4 Form, Employment Verification Form (I-9), and sign the Welch Village Ski and Snowboard Area, Inc. drug and alcohol policy. These forms must be completed by the first day of employment.

SEASON PASS RELEASE

Employees who plan to use the season-pass benefit must sign the required release form. Employees under 18 must have a legal parent or guardian sign the release.
