Welch Village Ski Area is proud to be a part of the Minnesota Ski Areas 4th Grade Passport Program!
The Minnesota Ski Areas Association (MNSAA) and its members are excited to offer the 4th Grade Passport for the 2026/27 season. The 4th Grade Passport offers every 4th grade student the opportunity to ski and snowboard for free in Minnesota. The goal of the program is to help introduce families to how much fun they can have together outside in the winter.
Passport applications are available through the Friday before Presidents Day. Each Passport is $43.99 (tax included) for the 2026/27 season. Once paid, there are no additional fees for lift tickets.
4th Grade Passport holders will be issued a total of 3 free visits on any day Welch Village is open during the 2026/27 season. Reserve each visit online through the passport portal, then check in at the outdoor ticket windows with your 4th grader to receive the ticket.
4th Grade Passport lift tickets will NOT be issued to members of a USSA, D-Team, or traveling ski school participant on the day of the race or the day of the traveling school visit to Welch Village.
All 4th Grade Passports must be purchased online here.
