Night Skiing

The lights are on every night Welch Village is open. Lifts run until 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday and until 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday.

Night riding is included with any all-day ticket. The After 3pm and After 6pm tickets are priced for riders who only want the evening session.

Welch Village reserves the right to open or close chairlifts, runs, or complete operations due to weather, snowmaking, grooming, skier traffic, or other factors. Check the Snow Report the morning of your visit for what is actually spinning.

Welch Village lifts run 10:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 10:00pm Friday and Saturday, and 9:00am to 9:00pm Sunday. Holiday hours differ from the regular schedule. Check the snow report for today’s confirmed operating hours before you drive out.

How late can you ski at night at Welch Village?

Until 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 9:00pm Monday through Thursday and Sunday. The lights are on every night Welch Village is open. Night skiing is included with an all-day ticket, and the After 6PM session is a lower-priced option for evening-only visits.

When does Welch Village open for the season?

Welch Village historically opens in late November or early December and closes in early to mid March, depending on cold weather and snowmaking. Welch Village is closed December 25. Opening day is announced on the snow report page and on Instagram once the season dates are set.

What time does the food service close at Welch Village?

Main Chalet food service runs 11:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Thursday, 11:00am to 9:00pm Friday and Saturday, and 11:00am to 8:00pm Sunday. Jaxx in the East Chalet and the Nelson Brothers Bar keep their own hours, and all of them close earlier than the lifts.
