2026/27 Season

Season Pass Terms & Membership Agreement

Last updated: [PUBLISH DATE]. This is the complete, fully expanded version of the terms shown in the accordion on the Season Passes page. Same content, one page, built to print.

1. Season dates, hours and rate deadlines

The 2026/27 winter season is expected to run from late November 2026 through early to mid March 2027. Operating dates and hours are weather and snow dependent, and early-season and late-season hours can close earlier than posted.

Fall rates are valid through noon on October 28, 2026, when all passes move to full price. Season passes come off sale for the 2026/27 season after January 15, 2027.

Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are subject to tax.

2. Refunds, transfers and Season Pass Insurance

Season pass purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Passes cannot be transferred to another person or to another season under any circumstance, and they are not for resale.

The one exception is Season Pass Insurance. If you add coverage at the time of purchase and a qualifying event occurs, your purchase can be refunded under the terms in the Description of Coverage. Coverage runs approximately 8.8% of the pass price and must be added during checkout. It cannot be added afterward. If you choose not to purchase pass insurance, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind.

Season Pass Insurance is sold by FanShield, LLC, NPN 18828928. For California residents, FanShield, LLC does business as FanShield Insurance Solutions, CA License No. 0M66549.

If you purchase a pass and then become a Welch Village employee, your purchase is not refunded, but you may transfer your pass for a $50 fee. A transfer is not allowed once the pass has been used or after December 24, 2026.

3. Season pass cards and how you get yours

Purchase your pass before noon on October 28, 2026 and upload a photo to your guest record, and your season pass card will be mailed to you during November 2026. It goes to the address on your account, so make sure it is current. Email info@welchvillage.com right away if anything needs updating.

Purchase after noon on October 28, 2026, or leave the photo off your guest record, and you will pick your card up at the Main Chalet ticket windows on your first visit of the season. Cards are only available for pickup once we are open for skiing and riding. Weekend mornings before 1PM can run long, so build in extra time.

4. Displaying your lift ticket

Season pass members present their pass card at the ticket windows every day they ski or ride, to receive that day’s lift ticket.

Attach the ticket to your outer ski garment with the fastener provided, somewhere clearly visible. On warm days, put it on a layer you are not going to take off, such as your snow pants.

If your ticket of the day is not properly displayed, or if you ski or ride without obtaining it first, a $200 fine is assessed.

5. Lost or forgotten pass cards

Lost or stolen card. Report it to the ticket office right away so it can be deactivated. A $10 replacement fee applies.

Forgot your card at home. We can issue your daily ticket at the Main Chalet ticket windows for a $5 fee per person.

6. Release of liability

Every pass holder must electronically sign the release of liability when purchasing a season pass. Your pass card does not activate until the release is signed.

If the pass holder is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the release on their behalf before the first visit.

7. Loss of lift ticket and season pass privileges

If Welch Village Ski Patrol or any Welch Village employee sees you ski or snowboard in a closed area, your lift ticket will be removed and you will be asked to leave the premises. A warning will not be given.

Closed areas include chairlift lines, summer access roads, closed trails, and any area marked by orange signs reading CLOSED, with or without ropes.

Season pass holders receive an immediate two-week suspension on a first offense. A second offense results in suspension for the remainder of the season.

8. Welch Village Season Pass Membership Agreement

  1. Passholders must be present at the ticketing station to receive their daily lift ticket.
  2. Loss of season pass card results in $10 replacement fee.
  3. Season pass may be revoked by Welch Village upon presentation by any other person other than to whom issue, for violation of any safety rules, or any activity which is construed misconduct, misuse or nuisance in using the facilities.
  4. I (we) agree to abide by the loss of lift ticket privileges policy of Welch Village and I (we) will not ski or ride in or on closed areas or runs. See the Loss of Ticket & Season Pass Privileges Policy above.
  5. Season pass purchases are not refundable unless insurance is purchased at time of pass purchase.
  6. Transfers of passes to other people or other seasons will not, under any circumstance, be granted.
  7. If you purchase a pass, and then become employed by Welch Village, your purchase will not be refunded, but you may transfer your pass for a fee of $50. A transfer will not be allowed if the pass has been used or if it is after 12/24/26.
  8. Family pass rates apply only to immediate family members living at the same address. Extended stay visits by other individuals does not qualify them for the family rate.
  9. The Welch Village Season Pass Agreement and Release of Liability must be signed for pass to become valid.
  10. If you forget our season pass, our daily ticket will cost $5 more than if you hadn’t forget. (Will have to pay a $5 fee to receive daily lift ticket at our ticket windows).
