*Due to the need to ensure that we can ensure that our ticket lines can run efficiently, member lift ticket benefits WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE IN PERSON at our ticket windows. Instead, member lift ticket benefits MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE IN OUR ONLINE STORE.
Each season pass holder receives 10 "points" attached to their season pass card that they can use to purchase discounted all day lift tickets for their guests during the 2021/22 winter season. The member guest lift tickets may be purchased at a rate of $55 each (plus relevant taxes; price subject to change at any time), a savings of nearly ~20% from our full ticket rates, and MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE. The associated discounted member guest lift ticket is good for any one day (all day) of skiing/snowboarding at Welch Village Ski Area during the 21/22 winter season. No matter when the ski area closes for the winter season, the ticket expires on March 31, 2022. Historically, the ski area has been open from late November through early/mid March. Please read carefully the ticket expiration dates when purchasing, and note that rentals are NOT INCLUDED in the price. If rentals are needed for your guest, they must be purchased separately online. (There is not a Member Rate on rentals)
INSTRUCTIONS TO PURCHASE MEMBER GUEST LIFT TICKETS:
In order for member's guests to receive a discounted lift ticket, members should direct their guests to purchase their discounted lift tickets by visiting our online store and selecting the "MEMBER LIFT TICKET" item. Members will need to provide their pass number to their guests so that they may receive the discount at checkout in our online store. Your pass number is shown on the face of your season pass card, and is the number that starts with a "P". The member's guests will add the "Member Lift Ticket" from the online store to their shopping cart, and then will be directed to attach their name to the lift ticket (by clicking on the "Add/Change Guest" Blue hyperlink; a new guest will need to be set up if the member's guest does not currently have an existing online account with Welch Village), complete an online release (which will be automatically prompted after attaching a guest name), and "validate" the discounted ticket by entering the member's pass number in the "validation box." A screenshot of the checkout screen from our online store is shown below. The highlighted section is the validation box where the member's pass number needs to be entered in order to allow you to purchase the discounted member ticket. The "P" must be entered into the validation box as well as the entire number sequence that follows. Once the pass number is entered, you must click on the arrow on the right side of the white box to "validate" the lift ticket. Once the validation box turns green, the ticket has been validated, and you may checkout and purchase your member guest ticket. In addition to the validation box, as mentioned above, you must attach a guest name to the lift ticket (by clicking on the "Add/Change Guest" Blue hyperlink), and must also complete an electronic release for the user of the ticket (The electronic release will be automatically prompted as part of the checkout process). The electronic release should be signed by the guest who will be using the member guest lift ticket, and not the member themselves. Once the checkout is complete and the ticket has been paid for, the individual purchasing the lift ticket will receive an emailed bar code that can be presented at our main chalet outdoor ticket windows for scanning in exchange for their physical daily lift ticket.
