Ski and Snowboard Rental 2023/24 Rental Information
RENTALS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLINE ONLY
All rentals NEED TO BE PURCHASED ONLINE, IN ADVANCE, FOR THE SPECIFIC DAY THAT YOU PLAN ON SKIING OR RIDING (with the exception of Snowboard and High Performance Ski Rentals, of which, MUST BE purchased in person at our ticket windows on a first come first served basis). Once you purchase your rentals, you will receive an email containing your rental voucher barcodes, which must be presented at our outdoor ticket windows at our Main Chalet for scanning and redemption.

Regular Ski Package (Skis/Boots/Poles) - $42
(Helmet must be purchased separately)
Snowboard Package (Snowboard/Boots) - $42

Snowboard Rentals ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO BE RESERVED ONLINE. They must be purchased in person at our outdoor ticket windows at our main chalet. They are first come, first serve, and supplies are limited. If you are wishing to rent a snowboard, we encourage you to arrive early in the day. If you visit our resort and we are out of snowboard rentals, you will have the option to rent skis instead.
High Perform. Ski Package (HP Skis/Boots/Poles) - $69
(Helmet must be purchased separately; $53 for HP Skis Only)
High Performance Rentals ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO BE RESERVED ONLINE. They must be purchased in person at our outdoor ticket windows at our main chalet. They are first come, first serve, and supplies are limited. If you are wishing to rent a HP Package, we encourage you to arrive early in the day. If you visit our resort and we are out of HP Packages, you will have the option to rent a regular ski package instead.
Helmet Only Rental - $10
Regular Skis Only or Snowboard Only or Snowboard Boots Only - $32
(Note that we DO NOT rent ski boots alone (must be part of a package))

RENTAL EQUIPMENT POLICIES & OTHER INFORMATION
Note: All rental packages are DATE RESTRICTED vouchers that are GOOD ONLY ON THE DATE THAT YOU CHOOSE WHEN PURCHASING. YOU MUST USE THE RENTAL ON THE DATE THAT YOU CHOOSE. All sales are final; no credit or refunds will be issued if you do not use your rental package on the date that you choose, and NO DATE TRANSFERS will be allowed. If you cannot use your rental due to weather, road conditions, change of plans, or any other reason not listed here, you WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRANSFER TO A DIFFERENT DAY under any circumstance. In the case of a resort closure, rentals will be transferred to a different day this season. Unused rentals are forfeited and not refundable. Rentals are not transferrable to a different guest. Rentals are only available for the guest name that was added at purchase time and for the date you purchased. Please consider this policy when purchasing and planning your visit.
Releases: Online releases are required for all tickets, rentals and lesson programs. These forms must be completed prior to arriving at the ski area. If you are under 18, YOU MUST have your parent/legal guardian complete these forms electronically online on your behalf before you visit Welch Village. CLICK HERE FOR ELECTRONIC RELEASE FORMS
Tax: All rental pricings are subject to Minnesota Sales Tax (6.875%) and Goodhue County Sales Tax (0.5%). Tax is not included in the above pricings.
*Packaged rental products do not include a helmet rental. If a helmet is desired, you must purchase a helmet rental separately. Helmet rentals will not be able to be purchased at the ski area, so please plan your visit ahead and purchase online.
Sizing Availability: Ski boot sizes range from Kids 9 to Adult 14.5. Ski sizes range from 80cm to 175cm. The smallest snowboard boot size is 1 1/2 and the largest snowboard boot size is 15. The smallest snowboard size is 106cm. Use of any rental equipment on terrain park features is prohibited.
High Performance Skis For Sale: All high performance skis become available for purchase in late February or early March every season. Call 651-258-4567 ext 2814 for more information.
Use of Equipment/Damaged Equipment Policy: None of the Welch Village rental equipment is allowed in the Terrain Park. If it is determined that a user damaged rental equipment beyond what would be expected as "normal wear and tear", Welch Village reserves the right to charge the user of the equipment for the damage incurred, and will do so by charging the user's credit card that was used to purchase the rental equipment.
