Friends and co-workers come from around the area to participate in MRL each week. There's no better way to enjoy winter and spend time with your friends.
MRL gives you the opportunity to improve your skiing and snowboarding skills while enjoying a competitive, yet friendly environment for racing. Practice the first week is followed by six weeks of timed racing where you can earn medals and win lots of prizes. Form your own team or we can place you on a team.
Teams consist of 10 people. Awards ceremonies and apres ski events take place immediately following the races. The post-race festivities occur at Madd Jaxx chalet which is well known for its party atmosphere.
This years Championship Race will be held at Giants Ridge, March 9-11, 2012. The total cost of any/all racing for the weekend will be $25. Individual racing will take place on Friday, with team competition on Saturday, and the Super G on Sunday.
Sundays - January 8th thru February 19th, 6:00pm start on Dan's Dive, for those 18 and older.
Wednesdays - January 11th thru February 22nd, 7:30pm start on Dan's Dive, for those 18 and older.
Fridays - January 6th thru February 17th, 2:00pm start for those 18 and older. January 20th will be excluded and a make-up time will be announced.
Friday Night Clinics are offered December 16th thru January 27th - excluding January 20th. Cost is $25 per session and includes unlimited runs in the Nastar course from7-9pm. Area lift ticket not included. You must pre-register OnLine by Thursday noon the day prior to the clinic which you plan to attend. Must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Registration available soon.
Nastar is open to the public
Nastar will be held the following times:
December 16th - January 27th and February 3rd - March 2nd from 7-9pm
*there will not be Nastar on January 20th
$10=unlimited runs
-Must register each session.
-Can qualify for the National Championships in March 2012 at Winter Park.
